Welcome to Manningham Council's online grant application program. 

Community Partnership Grants are open

Applications are open for our Community Partnerships Grant category, which supports long-term initiatives that strengthen and celebrate our diverse community.

These grants provide eligible not-for-profit organisations and groups with the opportunity to apply for up to 4 years of funding to deliver initiatives that make a lasting difference for our residents.

Funding is available across 3 streams:

  • Community development – initiatives that deliver essential services, programs, and responses to the needs of Manningham’s diverse community
  • Minor Community Events - to support the activation of key locations and attract people to Manningham
  • Major Community Events - to support the activation of key locations, attracting and engaging a minimum of 8,000 people to key events in Manningham

Applications open on Monday 27 October and close at 5pm on Wednesday 10 December, with funding available for activities scheduled from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2030.

To help organisations prepare their submissions, we’re offering the following free sessions:

  • Grant Information Session: Tuesday 28 October, 10:00am to 11:00am, Manningham Function Centre, Doncaster (in-person)
  • Grant Writing Workshop: Monday 10 November, 9:00am to 12:00pm Manningham Function Centre, Doncaster (in-person)
  • Questions and Answers (Q&A) Session: Wednesday 12 November, 4:00pm – 5:00pm (online)

Applications for the 2025/26 Small Grant program is open all year.

The Manningham Small Grants Program aims to support local community groups and organisations to deliver activities for our community in Manningham.

There are two streams in the Small Grant Category available:

·        Community Strengthening – amounts of up to $3,000 are available to deliver one-off innovative activities

·        Equipment Purchase – amounts of up to $1,500 for a 50% contribution towards the total cost of the equipment.

The Small Grant program is open all year, with application cut off dates on 29 January 2026 to be assessed in following month.

Organisations can only receive one Small Grant per financial year.
