Welcome to Manningham Council's online grant application program. 

Applications for the 2026 annual Community Grant Program is open

The program provides funding to support and empower community groups and organisations to deliver programs and activities for our community in Manningham.

Grant categories include:

  • Community Development Grants – for activities that benefit and meet the needs of our diverse community. 
  • Arts Grants – for activities that engage community in local arts, culture and heritage.
  • Festival and Events Grants – for community led festivals and events that attract visitors to Manningham and activate key locations.
  • Healthy Ageing Grants - for activities that improve the health and quality of life of older adults in Manningham.

The annual community grant program offers funding from $3,001 to $20,000.

Applications will be open from Monday 23 February and will close at 5pm on Wednesday 1 April 2026.

Applications for the Manningham Community Fund are now open

We invite applications from not-for-profit organisations with DGR Item 1 (deductible gift recipient) status to apply for grants supported by the Manningham Community Fund.

The Manningham Community Fund (MCF) operates under the umbrella of the Greater Melbourne Foundation (formerly the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation), providing funding to organisations with DGR status to support people living in Manningham.

Funding of up to $10,000 per organisation is available, with a total funding pool of $23,390 available in 2026. There is no minimum amount required.

Applications close at 5pm, Wednesday 1 April 2026. Outcomes will be announced in June 2026 and projects will commence from 1 July 2026.

Applications for the 2025/26 Small Grant program is open all year.

The Manningham Small Grants Program aims to support local community groups and organisations to deliver activities for our community in Manningham.

There are two streams in the Small Grant Category available:

  • Community Strengthening – amounts of up to $3,000 are available to deliver one-off innovative activities
  • Equipment Purchase – amounts of up to $1,500 for a 50% contribution towards the total cost of the equipment.

The Small Grant program is open all year, with application cut off dates on  31 May 2026 to be assessed in following month.

Organisations can only receive one Small Grant per financial year.
